How I can help you: I would like to give guidance to incoming students to get them out there and socializing. I’m always willing to help out with picking classwork and aiding in homework, but I think introducing them to clubs and what the city of Davis has to offer is of utmost importance. 

When I started at UC Davis, I felt: overwhelmed and alone. I was able to find comfort throughout the year through friends and chosen family.

Advice for incoming first-year UHP students: Please leave your room, go to social events, even if you don’t know anyone. Also, get yourself a study group, you don’t even need to share classwork with them; a group of students motivating each other tends to lead to success and hinders procrastination.
