How I can help you: I want to ensure that the incoming students could navigate through their first year without making mistakes I have made and get head starts on all the resources and opportunities I couldn't recognize until later year.

When I started at UC Davis I felt...clueless.

Advice for incoming first-year UHP students: Never quit looking for opportunities. If one doesn't work out, then look for another one. There is always at least one opportunity that is willing to offer you a chance.
