How I can help you: As your peer mentor I can help with any questions you may have throughout your transition into college life. No matter how small the question is and no matter if you think it is redundant and small, please ask all of your questions until you are no longer stressed. My goal is to make your transition to college life as stress free as possible. So if there is any question that is bothering you please make sure to ask me and I will do my best to answer it.
When I started at UC Davis: I felt stressed and anxious about all the responsibilities that I was going to have. I didn't want to mess anything up. I wanted everything to be perfect. I was also stressed about all things I expected myself to do and be apart at UC Davis.
Advice for incoming first-year UHP students: College is whatever you make of it. Stop looking at everyone else and comparing yourself to them. Do whatever you think you should be doing and always make time for yourself. Make sure you find your community and friends, and most important of all, make memories.
