Personal Interests: I enjoy working out, hiking, skiing, and spending time outdoors through different sports and activities. I also have a passion for coffee making and experimenting with different brewing methods.
Campus Involvement: I am involved in the University Honors Program, College Corps, the Global Fellowship Program. I’ve also worked with Unitrans as a transit driver and served as an orientation leader, which allowed me to stay connected with and support the Davis community
How I can help you: As your peer Mentor, I can help you navigate through the UC Davis campus as a first-year student. I can share my own experiences of being a first-year student to assure you that we all have been in your shoes and it isn't easy. Having the guidance and support by me as your mentor will help you have a positive first year at UC Davis.
When I started at UC Davis, I felt: a little overwhelmed and unsure of where to begin, but I soon found support through different student organizations and communities. These connections helped me build a sense of belonging and gave me the confidence to navigate campus life.
Advice for incoming first-year UHP students: Take advantage of every resource and opportunity UHP offers. Whether it’s classes, faculty connections, or research opportunities. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and reach out for help; professors and peers are more supportive than you might expect. Also, allow yourself time to explore new interests to growth and building a community.
