How I can help you: I want to help students not only achieve their goals, but also go beyond them. Whether it be through giving advice for classes, helping design study programs, or sharing campus resources, I desire to assist in the creation of a nurturing environment for all students.
When I started at UC Davis I felt... apathetic. I thought college would just be another stage in life for me to get through on my journey towards medical school. But it's much more than that. Coming into my third year, I've had the privilege of working in different organizations and meeting a plethora of diverse individuals, all of whom shape my growth and my development to this day. Now, to me, UC Davis feels like a field where I can test my limits and grow.
Advice for incoming first-year UHP students: There are plenty of pieces of advice I could give to incoming first-years, ranging from study spots to campus resources to quickly capitalize on. But the biggest piece of advice I would share with incoming UHP students is to never stop looking for challenges. It's always okay to take time to relax, but seeking out challenges and confronting adversity is a key part of growth, both academically and personally.
