How I can help you: I want to create an environment where my mentees can ask any question they want. I can connect them to the right campus resources, and always be someone they can talk to.

When I started at UC Davis I felt...pressure to pick the right major. I thought I had to get it perfect from the start. But college is about exploring. Changing paths isn’t failure, but growth. I went from undeclared to Cog Sci, then CS, and now Data Science.

Advice for incoming first-year UHP students: Time management is important. With so many assignments and deadlines, it’s easy to fall behind. And procrastination makes it worse. Simple daily and weekly plans can help you stay on track.
