Personal Interests: Cooking, traveling, swimming, walking in nature, and reading.
Campus Involvement: Shifa Community Clinic, previously a board member of the American Society of Microbiology Club, Served as the STEM Committee Chair of ASUCD, on the board of the student Alumni Association, on the Student Activities Committee of UHP, CBS Biolaunch Collective Peer Mentor, UC Davis ASU, and UHP.
How I can help you: As a peer mentor, I will act as the support system for other students, be their friend, and always be open to give them advice. I will be their emotional support, guide them academically, help them network and crate new connections, encourage them and motivate them to persevere through difficulties, share resources with them, and be a role model.
When I started at UC Davis: I felt excited but afraid.
Advice for incoming first-year UHP students: I would tell incoming first- year UHP students that the transition from high school to University will be very difficult overall. However, at the end of the day, as long as one does not give up, they will reach success.
