Personal Interests: I absolutely adore reading and scrapbooking as of recently. More often than not I'm doing something artsy and listening to music while I'm at it. Above all I love being with my friends and those I love.
Campus Involvement: I am also a peer mentor for the STaR program on campus and have participated in the Princess Pals club off and on since my first year.
How I can help you: I want to help students realize that they are not alone in their struggles especially during their first year at UC Davis which can be hard. Everyone goes through feelings of not being good enough and not fitting in so I want to be a safe space for my mentees to talk through those emotions. As well as be the loudest cheerleader for all my students accomplishments and someone they can come to with any questions.
When I started at UC Davis I felt... beyond nervous but overwhelmingly excited for all of the opportunities to grow.
Advice for incoming first-year UHP students: Always take the chance and try something new. There are so many resources and new things to try; don't limit yourself. Try that UHP course, join that club and take the time to figure out who you are as a student AND a person.
