When I started at UC Davis: I was nervous about time management, solidifying new friendships, finding good research experience, and adjusting to the rigor of University classes.I was stoked to get to explore a new part of California, and I was really excited to become involved with all types of clubs and organizations around campus. Also, I was excited to begin my career path at a top notch University.

Advice for incoming first-year UHP students:My advice for new students is to be yourself. Do not be afraid to voice your opinions and let the world know who the real you is. Be social in the dorm, it is a great place to find like-minded friends. Also, be careful not to get too cocky, pride comes before the fall.
