Donald A. Strauss Foundation Scholarship The Donald A. Strauss Scholarship allows juniors to pursue a public service project during their senior year by providing $10,000 for educational expenses. The project may be a new undertaking or an extension of the recipient's current activities. UC Davis can nominate three students for the Strauss Award. To qualify, students must be full-time juniors, have a minimum of 3.30 GPA, and plan to devote a significant part of their lives to public service. Because candidates must be endorsed by UC Davis, a campus selection process consisting of a pre-application is required by all interested students. Selected students will participate in a campus interview and nominee(s) will be chosen to compete in the national competition. Campus application deadline: Late January
