Della Davidson is a Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance.  Her area of research is choreography and interdisciplinary performance.  In 2003, Ms. Davidson was chosen to be a Chancellor’s Fellow in recognition of excellence within her work and teaching.  She is the Artistic Director of Sideshow Physical Theater, the residence professional performance company of the Mondavi Center and the Department of Theatre and Dance.  Ms. Davidson received her MA from University of Arizona in 1983 and was the Artistic Director of the award-winning Della Davidson Dance Company in San Francisco for 15 years before coming to UC Davis.
