Eric Schroeder

Biography
Teaching in the University Honors Program has been one of the highlights of my career at Davis. I\'ve worked with both the DHC and the ISHP for many years. Teaching in these programs has given me the opportunity to do many very different things--from offering courses that have examined the Vietnam War to directing a Shakespeare play each spring quarter. Students in these programs are filled with energy and enthusiasm and are lots of fun to work with. University Writing Program, American Studies, Integrated Studies Honors Program. I am also the Director of the Summer Abroad Program at UCD. My MA is from the University of Sussex (Renaissance Studies); my PhD is from UCLA (English). The Academic Federation Excellence in Teaching Award.
