One of the honors programs, The Davis Honors Challege, offers the Service Learning Program (SLP) which provides small groups of DHC students the opportunity to organize service projects that meet the needs of their community. Volunteers gain valuable learning experiences as they apply critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills to real-world situations.

The SLP has a myriad of project opportunities, and encourages students to create their own projects as well. An important aspect of the SLP is personal growth.
